Our favorite two days of the year.
Atypon’s Engage User Conferences are an opportunity for publishers to get to know us better in a relaxed, entertaining, and information-filled atmosphere. Held twice yearly—once in North America and once in Europe—they give us a chance to share Literatum’s new technological advancements, what’s in our development pipeline, and new industry advancements.
A full complement of our staff are on hand so customers can both spend time with their account teams and meet other Atypon staff, including our Executive Team. User Conferences also give customers the chance to meet other publishers in the Literatum community and spend time with industry colleagues. After each conference, videos of the day’s presentations and PDFs of the slide decks are shared for on-demand access to the day’s proceedings. They are available to clients in the “User Conference” tab of the Support page.
How-to sessions are interspersed with informal lunch table conversations, case studies, and breakout sessions for leveraging the full complement of Literatum’s features. Customers present real-world Literatum uses cases, and a keynote speaker—either from the industry or a related field—provides a fresh perspective on a topic of interest to our customers. Each conference is arranged around a broad-ranging theme that ties Literatum’s features and functionality into publishers’ business goals.
Engage North America is held in the spring, typically the day after the Annual Meeting of the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP); Engage Europe is held in early December. Both are bookended by dinner and cocktail receptions that provide valuable one-on-one time with staff and publishers.
Our most recent conference in Boston on June 3 brought together over 120 guests from 50 publishers and 30 members of the Atypon team around the theme of “Keeping Publishers Central.”
The next Engage User Conference is Friday, December 8, 2017 in London. All Atypon customers and prospects are encouraged to attend this special invite-only event. Please contact your representative for more details.
