What Information Do We Collect?
Atypon collects personal information in three ways through information provided directly from our users and from information collected through web server logs.
Information Supplied by Our Users
Atypon collects personal information, such as your email address, name, home or work address, and telephone number. We use such information to fulfill your order, send you confirmation, respond to your requests and provide you services. Atypon does not collect any of this unique information about you except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information to Atypon.
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. Session cookie are required for maintain a persistent session between your browser and our servers. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistence cookies are used for storing non-user identifiable data across sessions. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” directory.

Atypon records and saves information about you from our web server logs such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the time and day you visited, and your browser type. This information is used to verify our records and to provide better service to you.

Changes to this Policy
Atypon Systems, Inc. participates in the U.S. – E.U. Safe Harbor framework and the U.S. – Swiss Safe Harbor as set forth by the United States Department of Commerce. As part of our participation in the safe harbor, we have agreed to TRUSTe dispute resolution for disputes relating to our compliance with the Safe Harbor Privacy Framework. If you have any complaints regarding our compliance with the Safe Harbor you should first contact us (as provided above). If contacting us does not resolve your complaint, you may raise your complaint with TRUSTe by Internet here, fax to 415-520-3420, or mail to TRUSTe Safe Harbor Compliance Dept., click for mailing address. If you are faxing or mailing TRUSTe to lodge a complaint, you must include the following information: the name of company, the alleged privacy violation, your contact information, and whether you would like the particulars of your complaint shared with the company.
