SANTA CLARA, Calif.—March 23, 2010—Atypon™ today announced that the American Psychological Association's new website, the association's primary channel for providing services and content, uses its RightSuite™ product for identity management, access management, and commerce.

With more than 150,000 members, the American Psychological Association is the largest association of psychologists in the world. Its vision is to be the primary resource for all psychologists, as well as the major catalyst for the stimulation, growth, and dissemination of psychological science and practice.

The new website uses RightSuite to provide single sign-on across the association's digital assets; manage access to its leading journals, books, and databases, including PsycINFO®; and enable the purchase and fulfillment of both physical and digital goods.

"Our goal with the new website was to deliver a more integrated user experience for the association's institutional and individual customers and members," said Beverly Jamison, Senior Director of Information Technology Services Architecture and Publishing Solutions for the APA. "We've achieved single sign-on and integrated commerce across the APA's several domains."

"The new website is the best way for APA members to pay dues, renew subscriptions, purchase books, and register for conferences," said Kevin Cohn, Director of Client Services for Atypon. "RightSuite is enabling the APA to start 2010 with new commercial offerings and a solid platform on which to continuously add and improve products."
