SANTA CLARA, CA – February 9, 2004 – Atypon launched the online content sites for the University of California Press (UC Press) last month, Calber (http://caliber.ucpress.net). The new site makes use of the Atypon full-service information platform for electronic publishing, Literatum.

Caliber offer scholars the first glimpse of Atypon's new PDFplus technology, which adds dynamic links to PDFs while also compressing the size for faster download times.
