SANTA CLARA, CA USA – December 1, 2003 – Atypon Systems announced that its publisher customers have realized significant increases in overall site usage, new user registrations, and pay-per-view revenues since they started using Atypon technology.
Sites such as Blackwell Synergy and Annual Reviews are enjoying up to a 53% increase in overall site usage in one month. With Atypon's Literatum e-publishing software at the core, these sites are hosted, operated, and managed by Atypon as part of a full service offering. Literatum is a full service adaptive information management platform that allows publishers hands-on control of the administration of their content and users.
In reviewing data from the last six months, Atypon found the following increases across its publishers' sites:
"We are very pleased that our technology may be helping our publishers grow their businesses," stated Georgios Papadopoulos, CEO of Atypon Systems. "We are only just beginning to see the power of superior technology in helping publishers serve the scholarly community."
Literatum's administration and access control allows publishers to control content collections and online sales options, including the creation of new packages, products, offers, and promotions. Atypon helps increase the visibility of content with extensive linking and indexing by outside services and search engines. Detailed reporting gives publishers the feedback they need to more effectively expand their offerings and widen usage.
Atypon will be demonstrating the benefits of Literatum and its other products and services at the Online Information 2003 conference in London this week.
Atypon will be exhibiting its electronic publishing technology solutions at the Online Information 2003 conference in London from December 2 - 4, 2003.
